Meda Lelo: Lighting Up Lives with Lumiere Orphanage Home Facility Inc.

Meda Lelo is the founder of Lumiere Orphanage Home Facility Inc., a nonprofit organization located in the Democratic Republic of Congo. She started this organization in 2021 with a vision to provide a safe and loving home for orphaned children.
Currently, Lumiere orphanage is housing 32 children who have no family. These children come from different backgrounds, but they all have one thing in common: the need for a caring and supportive environment. This is why Meda Lelo and her team have taken a proactive approach to sustain their organization. In September last year, they secured a 3.5-acre land where they farm and grow their own food. This not only helps them cut down on expenses, but it also provides the children with fresh and healthy produce.

Lumiere orphanage is bringing light into the lives of these children who would otherwise be living in darkness.
