This is a Webhosting company where you can buy the name of your blog and create an online space where you can upload your content.

If you are a beginner this is the easiest way to explain it, so you know what I am talking about:

To have a website you need a domain and hosting.

The domain is the name of your website and hosting is the place where all data are stored. A Hosting is like an empty house you bought so that you can add furniture, bed, and all the necessary stuff yourself. The metaphor for the domain can be the address of your house. I hope you got the idea of what I am trying to say.

Step by step process for beginners to start a blog and make more than $1000 per month.

and it will lead you to the Homepage where you can find everything about websites and blogs.

Click on the Get Started Now button.

You will see 3 different plans for a website. As a beginner, I went for Basic cause it was the cheapest one. And as I mentioned before, just the price of a cup of coffee.

When you are done choosing the basic plan, it’s now time to create your website name.

You can see that the name of this website is “ Siliconvalleytime.com”. If you want to make a good income, presenting yourself as a brand is one of the best ways. If you are not sure about the name for the blog then use your name. Having your name will help you stand as an influencer and authority.

There is a huge advantage in buying your name as a domain. As you must have seen, influencers have social media pages in their names and they direct their followers to the website which has the same name. You must already have a Facebook, Instagram, and other social media profile. This is why as a beginner I recommend you to buy a domain with your name so that you can connect the different platforms and share on your social media without creating any doubt for the audience.

When I had my first website (3 years ago), I used to write blogs and share them on Facebook groups, Pinterest, and other media to drive traffic to my website.

I had around 200 blog posts.

Most of them I wrote and others were sponsored posts.

As a beginner, I used to earn $100 to $150 per month.

It was not a good income but was passive so I was happy.

I had a good number of posts on the blog which drove a good amount of traffic every month without any work. I was receiving visitors on my site through Google, Pinterest, and Facebook.

If you have a 2 to a 3-month-old website and 25 to 30 blog posts. Signup for Adsense to allow Google to put ads on your website. I did the same for 2 years and was earning every month passively.

Once your website traffic grows up to 60,000 page views per month. You can remove Adsense and apply for Mediavine.

Mediavine provides higher rates on advertisements. You will be able to earn $1000 to $1500 per month by having more than 60,000 pageviews on your site, while Adsense will pay only $400 to $600 according to your website niche.
