Preska Thomas: The Architect of Digital Ownership and the Visionary Behind DebitMyData
From building digital worlds before NFTs were a thing, to launching a movement that’s redefining how we own and monetize our digital identities—Preska Thomas is no ordinary tech founder. In this rare and exclusive interview, we sat down with the creator of DebitMyData to talk about innovation, success habits, digital sovereignty, and the future of human-AI collaboration.
Preska, thank you for being here. In your own words, what is DebitMyData, and what makes it revolutionary?
Preska Thomas: Thank you for having me. DebitMyData is more than just a platform—it’s a personal revolution. It’s a digital space where individuals finally become the owners of their online presence. For too long, we’ve allowed tech giants to mine our behavior, our preferences, our identities—and turn that into billions in ad revenue. Meanwhile, we get “free access” in return. But at what cost? Our privacy? Our time? Our future?
With DebitMyData, I wanted to flip that script. We give people the tools to take control of their data and actually profit from it—ethically and transparently. Through AI-powered Agentic Avatars, Our Agentic Logos, NFT-based identity tokens, and image-to-video storytelling tools, users can literally turn their digital lives into income-generating assets. It’s not just about monetization—it’s about reclaiming power in a digital world that too often exploits instead of empowers.
Agentic Avatars are a core feature of DebitMyData. What inspired you to create them?
Preska: I looked at how AI is being built—and it terrified me. Most AI systems are trained on public data, meaning they consume everything from our online posts to our private behaviors, often without consent. These systems are then monetized by corporations, leaving individuals completely out of the equation.
That felt wrong. So I flipped the model. What if we created AI with the individual, not against them? That’s the Agentic Avatar. It’s like your digital twin, trained by you, to serve you. It’s always working in the background—analyzing trends, monitoring marketplaces, alerting you of opportunities, and protecting your digital brand.
For a gamer or anime fan, it tracks NFT drops and in-game assets. For a creator, it can transform a static moment into a video story. And for everyone, it’s a shield against deepfakes and data exploitation. It’s your intelligence, multiplied—by your rules.
Entrepreneurship in tech is no joke. What advice do you have for anyone hoping to launch something meaningful today?
Preska: Build with purpose, not noise. Right now, it’s easy to get distracted by trends—AI, Web3, metaverse, you name it. But those things are tools, not missions. You need to understand who you’re building for and what problem you’re solving—not just today, but five or ten years from now.
Don’t fall into the trap of over-raising, overhyping, and under-delivering. Validate your idea through action. Get your hands dirty. Talk to real users. Fail fast and adapt. And don’t wait for perfect—launch, learn, improve. You’ll learn more in one month of execution than in one year of planning.
And most importantly—stay authentic. The tech world doesn’t need more clones; it needs more truth-tellers and risk-takers.
In this fast-moving digital era, what does it truly take to become successful?
Preska: In today’s world, success isn’t just about being smart—it’s about being in alignment. You need a deep sense of clarity about who you are, what you value, and how you want to contribute to the world.
Tech changes fast. The rules rewrite themselves overnight. But your principles? They need to be non-negotiable. Do you stand for transparency? For inclusion? For ownership? Great. Let those guide you. Success will follow, not because you’re chasing it—but because you’re walking a path that resonates.
Also, success in tech today requires resilience. You’re going to hear “no” a lot. You’re going to pivot. You’re going to be doubted. But the one thing you can’t do is quit. Consistency and integrity will carry you when hype fades.
Let’s get personal. What daily habits or rituals help you stay grounded and creative as a founder?
Preska: Founder MODE- Founder-Mode
What’s a question more people should be asking in 2025—but aren’t?
Preska: “Who owns my reflection in the digital world?”
We’re generating data every second—photos, searches, ideas, creations—but few people stop to ask who controls it. If an AI is trained on your voice, your face, your story—shouldn’t you benefit from that? Shouldn’t you have the right to say no, or better yet, say yes on your terms?
Data is the new oil, but most people are just leaking it. At DebitMyData, I want to help people seal that leak—and build with it.
In 10 years, what does success look like for you and DebitMyData?
Preska: Success, to me, is seeing millions of people using technology to own themselves. I want to see Agentic logos and Agentic Avatars integrated into daily life—earning, protecting, creating on behalf of their users. I want creators, kids, gamers, entrepreneurs—everyone—to profit from their passions without surrendering their privacy.
And more than anything, I want DebitMyData to be remembered not just as a tech platform, but as a movement that gave people back their power- the ability to earn a living from data. If we can turn digital identity into economic freedom—that’s success.
Finally, what message do you want to leave with future innovators and entrepreneurs?
Preska: Don’t wait for permission. The world needs new ideas—and you are the vessel. You don’t need a title or a round of funding to be legit. You just need vision, discipline, and courage.
Build what the world doesn’t yet know it needs. Build it with empathy, build it with fire, and build it like the future depends on it—because it does.

We create powerful, insightful content that fuels the minds of entrepreneurs and business owners, inspiring them to innovate, grow, and succeed.
